Whom I worked with:

We learn etiquette to be better to others,
Not better than others!

Empowering the nice and sensitive people of the world, one kind act at a time. Building a world where our children can aspire to authentic human connections, where nobody feels left out and misunderstood. Where etiquette is no longer seen as a dusted concept.

Values

  • It may come as a surprise to some that an etiquette consultant champions authenticity and values diversity deeply. True etiquette, to me, is grounded in self-awareness and integrity, embodying honesty, respect, and consideration. I'm a firm believer in honoring our unique differences and leading a life true to ourselves. This deep self-knowledge is crucial; it allows us to forge genuine connections and choose behaviors and manners that authentically reflect who we are and what we stand for.Authenticity and respect don't involve snobbery or superficiality. They're about a genuine appreciation and regard for our unique identities and those of others around us.

  • Kindness is the core of meaningful interaction and forms the essence of the etiquette I teach. It’s about more than just polite gestures; it's a genuine, heartfelt consideration for others. Is understanding that we learn these skills to be better TO others, Not to be better THAN others. This ethos of kindness guides us to create an atmosphere where everyone is valued and respected, transcending mere social niceties.

In my approach, kindness is about empathetically understanding others’ perspectives and needs. It’s about actively listening, being present in our interactions, and showing compassion in both our words and actions. I do not believe mindfulness happens in a yoga position, when not even a fly bothers us, it happens in every moment of our lives, while navigating the conundrums of social interactions, staying aware of ourselves and others, being mindful of our manners!

  • To me, growth is synonymous with the essence of living; it’s at the core of everything I stand for. In my journey, both personally and through The School of Manners, I embrace the philosophy that every day is an opportunity to learn and evolve. It's not just about etiquette; it’s about a holistic growth that intertwines our personal and professional lives, where each experience, challenge, and interaction is a chance to gain insight and understanding. This approach to life as a continuous learning journey is what fuels my passion and drives my commitment to helping others grow in their paths too.

Official Bio

At The School of Manners, I've embarked on a heartfelt journey to counteract the erosion of genuine human connection in our rapidly evolving world. It all began with a profound realization: the nurturing qualities of empathy, communication, and relationship-building, traditionally instilled by women, are not relics of the past but indispensable tools for fostering a more compassionate society. Despite encountering frequent admonishments that I was "too nice" to thrive in the world, I remained steadfast in my belief that kindness and authenticity are not weaknesses but strengths that can transform lives.

Originally named 'Her Manners', my endeavor paid homage to the countless women who have silently preserved these invaluable life skills. However, recognizing the universal need for such skills across genders and cultures, I rechristened it 'The School of Manners'. This rebranding signified a shift in focus—from merely preserving traditional etiquette to redefining it in a contemporary context, ensuring its accessibility and relevance to all.

My approach at The School of Manners is distinct. I perceive etiquette not as a rigid set of rules but as a dynamic form of communication—an avenue for individuals to express their authenticity through gestures, attire, words, and even silence. I firmly believe that these expressions, when cultivated mindfully and genuinely, possess the transformative power to alleviate the pervasive loneliness of our modern era and foster profound human connections.

My clientele spans a diverse spectrum, mirroring the breadth of teachings offered. From individuals embarking on personal growth journeys to corporate teams seeking to enrich their professional dynamics, from members of royal families and CEOs to young students at the onset of their life journey, The School of Manners caters to a broad audience. Far beyond conventional etiquette training, my holistic approach integrates elements of self-awareness, personality assessments, image consultancy, and mindfulness, guiding my students towards authentic self-expression and interpersonal harmony.

Enriched by my role as a mother, my mission is both simple and profound: ".Building a world where our children can aspire to authentic human connections, where nobody feels left out and misunderstood. Where etiquette is no longer seen as a dusted concept. " This ethos, deeply influenced by the nurturing and empathetic perspective that motherhood brings, underpins every facet of my work—it's about teaching individuals not only to be better to others but also to embrace their true selves.

As I cast my gaze towards the future, I envision The School of Manners as a beacon of guidance for those seeking to reclaim their innate ability to engage authentically with others. My aspiration is to cultivate a world where kindness, empathy, and understanding are not merely lofty ideals but integral aspects of everyday life. At The School of Manners, I'm not merely imparting skills for today; I'm nurturing a legacy of compassion and understanding for generations to come.

Fostering Genuine Human Connections

In my journey with The School of Manners, my heart has always been set on more than just teaching etiquette. It's about nurturing genuine human connections, alleviating loneliness, and guiding people to put their best foot forward in every aspect of life. My passion lies in breaking down the barriers of traditional etiquette, transforming it from a rigid, elite practice into a warm, inclusive art that everyone can embrace and benefit from.

My commitment goes beyond the classroom; it's about bringing this education to all, not just the elite. I am driven by a vision to reshape the perception of etiquette, making it accessible and relevant for future generations. By doing so, I believe we can open doors to a world where understanding, respect, and kindness are the norm.

This passion extends to my volunteer work with underprivileged children in Africa and youth mentorship programs. I've seen firsthand how empowering young minds with the principles of etiquette and empathy can spark positive change in communities. It's a deeply personal mission to help wherever I can, to plant seeds of change that will grow into a future where children everywhere can access a world of better opportunities and relationships.

At the heart of my work is a desire to create a legacy – a world where etiquette is synonymous with genuine kindness and connection, where every interaction we have is an opportunity to make someone feel seen, heard, and valued. This is the world I'm passionate about building, one lesson, one connection at a time.
